Verio to Offer Enterprise Level Web Hosting at Small Business Prices

Service provider Verio Inc. has announced what it hopes to be a new category in the web hosting industry called Advanced Business Hosting. Their aim with this new service plan is to offer small businesses a competitive edge buy pricing enterprise level hosting at more easily affordable rates that would appeal to small business involved in online commerce.

Verio is known for its web hosting, application hosting and Software as Service offerings. Their focus has traditionally been on the online small business market, offering their services to a global range of such companies.

By utilizing their Virtual Private Server (VPS) technology, the company plans to provide customers who choose their Advanced Business Hosting plans with dedicated containers where they will have their own email, web and database access while still being wholly separate from other Verio customers. This plan is being marketed at a price similar to what a standard shared hosting plan would cost, but would provide performance, security and reliability that would be higher than those shared hosting plans are able to offer.

The company intends to offer three tiers of service, each with a different price point and level of service. Their Foundation Web package starts at $9.95 per month and allows for up to 4 unique web sites. For $29.95 monthly, their Professional Web package offers more space and up to 8 web sites. The highest level of service will be offered at a cost of $84.95 per month and give customers the ability to host 16 of their own web sites.
